Kherson Hospital - long-term recipient of aid

Although most residents have left Kherson, 10-15 children are still born every month in the city’s only functioning maternity hospital. The hospital has been and remains a target of Russian attacks, and bombs have already hit the upper floor in the past. Because the maternity hospital is under constant threat of further shelling, operations now continue only on the ground floor and in the underground shelter, where staff and patients move during attacks. Sirens can sound even in the middle of childbirth. In the parts of the building still in use, all windows are boarded up so that shattered glass does not kill patients if the building is hit. The Kherson maternity hospital is one of our regular recipients of aid.

We supply hospital beds, nurses’ clothing, disinfectants, medical supplies, and electrical appliances. In cooperation with IsraAID Ukraine, we also delivered disinfection lamps that helped the maternity hospital deal with water contamination after the destruction of the Kakhovka dam.

Become part of this help. These distributions are funded by donations from the Koridor UA Friends Club.

Thanks to your regular support, life-saving assistance reaches people in southeastern Ukraine.
