We believe that help in wartime does not have to take only the form of material deliveries, but can also include moral encouragement and human closeness. In 2025, we therefore supported a unique project – a tour of Czech musicians, the band Čtvrt na smrt, Jakub Čermák (Cermaque), and Ernest Voltr, who initiated and organized the entire tour as our volunteer. Together they set out directly to Ukrainian hospitals to bring joy through music to those who need it most.

The aim of the tour was to bring moments of calm and hope into the demanding environment of military hospitals and rehabilitation centres in Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Lysets. The musicians performed without fee and covered their own food and accommodation costs. Thanks to donors, we were able to cover the necessary expenses for fuel and customs fees connected with transporting the musical equipment. Live music thus became a message of solidarity from the Czech Republic and, for many patients and staff, a rare moment of relief and a reminder that they are not alone in this struggle.
